10 reasons to make nine wins a lock:

  1. WVU boasts the best center in the game and 6 players on that unit that have played significant minutes.  It always starts up front and WVU is ready to do just that.
  2. WVU's receiving corps has a Senior in the slot, that is simply Mr. Reliable and a solid if not downright explosive group of Wide Outs.
  3. WVU's signal caller now has an entire season of experience under his belt and is coming off an incredible performance in the Cactus Bowl.
  4. WVU returns a good RB and some very promising prospects to back him up.
  5. Dana is in a contract season.
  6. Gibby coaches the Defense.
  7. The Big XII has only one legitimate pre-season contender, Oklahoma.
  8. WVU has 5 Big XII home games.
  9. WVU will get Missou in a "rebuilding year."
  10. WVU will face BYU at a pseudo-home-game in DC.

It is for the aforementioned reasons that This blogger feels abundantly confident that WVU will have a very fun season and a solid bowl invite.
